QGIS Light Base Map tutorial

You can display the swisstopo "Base Light Map" Vector Tiles in QGIS 3.16+ following these steps:

1) Go to layer -> add layer -> vector tiles

2) Fill in these parameters:

  • Url: https://vectortiles10.geo.admin.ch/tiles/ch.swisstopo.leichte-basiskarte.vt/v1.0.0/{z}/{x}/{y}.pbf
  • Style: https://vectortiles.geo.admin.ch/styles/ch.swisstopo.leichte-basiskarte.vt/style.json

3) Click on "add" button and there you go:

Adding relief

1) Adding relief / hillshading and rock signatures:

2) Adding WMTS with Webmeractor projection:

hit OK, then Connect

select lch.swisstopo.leichte-basiskarte_reliefschattierung

hit add/hinzufügen, then hit OK

3) Move the Raster dataset behind the Vectortiles Layer
